1921 Company formed to make a portable producer gas plant which could be fitted to vehicles<ref>The Times, Jul 27, 1921</ref>.  Demonstrated two 3-ton lorries driven by producer gas plants on board the vehicles; the gas plant had been invented by Mr J W Parker and designed by [[Herbert W.
