Captain Fraser, R.E., adopted the proportions of the Skerryvore tower designed by [[Alan Stevenson]] for the [[Alguada Reef Lighthouse]]. He constructed this lighthouse for the Indian Government, as stated in his report of the 31st of October, 1857.
