1879 Partnership dissolved. '...Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, Samuel Leek and Joseph Fletcher, carrying on business together at Great Hampton-street, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, as Bicycle Makers, under the style or firm of Leek, Fletcher, and Co., has this day been dissolved by mutual consent....'[2]

1880 Bankruptcy. '...Liquidation by Arrangement or Composition with Creditors, instituted by Frederick John Lloyd, now residing at Upper Villiers street, Blakenhall, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, Bicycle Manufacturer and Clerk, and Samuel Leek, now residing at Church-lane, Wolverhampton, in the county of Stafford, Bicycle Manufacturer, formerly trading in copartnership at Church-lane, Wolverhampton aforesaid, as Bicycle Manufacturers, under the style or firm of Lloyd, Leek, and Company....'[3]
