Established by the Ministry of Munitions at Tipton

Original function: unknown. Opened: early 1917. Management: Bean and Son Ltd. Munitions: ammunition components such as fuzes, HE shell heads and nose bushes.

There was also a factory at Waterford which made cartridge cases; opened in 1917. This may have been classed as a National Cartridge Factory.
