ALBERT DAVIDSON, C.B.E., established a prosperous business for himself in Sheffield in partnership with Mr. Hattersley at the early age of 20. He had already served an apprenticeship with Messrs. Tasker, Sons, and Company of Sheffield, and gained considerable academic success.
The partnership was dissolved in 1896 and Mr. Davidson remained the head of the firm of Hattersley and Davidson. He was associated, as secretary of the Electrical Traders' Association, with many of the leading industrial extensions in Sheffield, and frequently acted as arbitrator and assessor. He was also a managing director of several other companies.
