Albert Abraham was educated at Crewe High School and Crewe Mechanics' Institute, and served his apprenticeship in the shops of the London and North-Western Railway Co. He remained with the Company for several years as Draughtsman and Marine Engineer, and then joined the Humber Company as Draughtsman.
During practically the whole of his subsequent career he was with the firm of Wolseley Motors, Ltd., first as Machine Shop Superintendent, then as Assistant Works Manager and Chief Constructor, and latterly as District Representative.
He also acted for some time as Representative in the Midlands for Vauxhall Motors, Ltd.
He died on 19th September, 1931, at the age of 56.
He was elected a Member of the Institution in 1919.
