1965 Obituary [1]

Mrs C. Cowper-Coles (Associate), who was for many years on the editorial staff of the Institution's Proceedings, died recently. For 23 years she assisted her husband who was a well-known engineer and metallurgist. After spending the war years in charge of the Drawing Office of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Mrs Cowper-Coles began her editorial career with Butterworths in 1946.

Her death robs this Institution of a good friend and colleague.
