"ERIC BATCHELOR, B.A., whose death occurred on 1st August 1949, at the age of forty-four, was closely concerned with brick and cement manufacture throughout his brief career.
He was educated at Radley College and at Cambridge University, where he graduated B.A., with honours in engineering. On leaving Cambridge in 1925, he served a three years' apprenticeship with Messrs.
