"CYRIL KINGSTON HEMSWORTH, who was born in 1893, received his education at the Holbeck (Leeds) Technical School and the Wakefield Technical College. After serving a four years' apprenticeship with Messrs. Joshua Buckton and Company, Leeds, general engineers, which terminated in 1911, he became an improver to Messrs. C. and G. A. Padgett, Wakefield, automobile engineers.
