His next appointment was in Canada where he took charge of the British Columbia Cement Works at Bamberton with responsibility for the construction of the entire plant. "WILLIAM ALBERT KNIGHT was in the service of Sir John Jackson, Ltd., contractors, Westminster, during almost the whole of his professional career, including his apprenticeship, which he served at Simonstown, South Africa, from 1906 to 1910.
