ERNEST EDMOND JAMES FARQUHAR, who was born in 1876, received his technical education at the Merchant Venturers' Technical College, Bristol. ERNEST EDMOND JAMES FARQUHAR, who was born in 1876, received his technical education at the Merchant Venturers' Technical College, Bristol. He was associated with the firm of Messrs. George Adlam and Sons, Ltd., general engineers, of Bristol, from his apprenticeship, which he served from 1892 to 1897, up to the time of his death, which occurred on 13th May 1944.
