FRANCIS RUMENS died on July 18 last, at the age of eighty-two years.
Early in life Mr. Rummens was connected with railway work, his first contract, which lasted some years, being with the Great Western Railway Company.
He afterwards resided for some years in Liverpool, during which time he was engaged in superintending works on the Lancaster and Carlisle Railway, on the completion of which, in 1851, he returned to London.
