HERMANN GRUSON died in January 1895 at Magdeburg, Buckau, aged 74. He was the founder of the world-renowned Gruson Works. He was one of the leading German ironmasters, and his constant solicitude for the welfare of his workmen is well known.

HERMANN GRUSON died in January 1895 at Magdeburg, Buckau, aged 74. He was the founder of the world-renowned Gruson Works. He was one of the leading German ironmasters, and his constant solicitude for the welfare of his workmen is well known.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1879.
