1898 Obituary [1]

CHARLES CHORLTON DUNKERLEY died at his residence, Hurst Dale, Dunham Massey, on July 22, 1898.

One of the most prominent representatives of the iron trade of the Manchester district, he was principal of the firm of C. C. Dunkerley & Co., an extensive business, dating back for more than half a century.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1888.
