West Hartlepool Rolling Mills Co of Penshaw, Fence Houses, Co Durham
1854 John Pile, shipbuilder, extended his business around this time by founding the West Hartlepool Rolling Mills Co. This was an iron works, which supplied materials to build iron ships.
