- 1917 Senior Engineer Civilian Railway Co. (G.W.R.).
- 1919 Divisional Engineer, Shrewsbury.
- 1922 and at Neath.
- 1924 Assistant to the Joint Chief Engineers, Barry Docks.
- 1926 Assistant Engineer, Paddington.
- 1928 Awarded the Inst. T. Gold Medal. (Eng.).
- 1932 and the Inst. C.E. Telford Premium in 1932.
