CHARLES WATSON, born in 1872, died at Tickton, Yorkshire, on the 97th July, 1915.
At the date of his death he was Docks Engineer to the North Eastern Railway Company, in whose service he had passed his whole professional career. On completing his training, he was stationed first at Hull and subsequently at York.
In 1900 he took charge of the drawing-office, and 3 years later he joined the Traffic Department. Later he acted as District Engineer at Bishop Auckland and at Newcastle, receiving the appointment of Docks Engineer in 1913.
He was elected an Associate Member on the 5th April, 1898, and was transferred to the class of Members on the 8th February, 1910.
