1965 The company was considered for a Ministry of Technology contract to allow development of a computer operating system that would allow multiple users[1]
1966 carrying out study for the advertising industry on forming a computer cooperative for the smaller agencies[2]. Wrote ALGOL compiler for GEC[3]
1967 Established a joint venture with a French company to supply software to European clients - called C.A.P. Europe[4]
1968 CAP Europe involved groups in Belgium, England, France, Holland and Switzerland[5]
1970 The European CAP group claimed to be the largest software house outside USA; was owned by its staff[6]
1975 CAP Europe acquired a substantial holding in Gemini Computer Systems of USA[7]; the group was called Cap Gemini Sogeti, based in Paris[8]
