1908 The Shropshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire Electric Power Co was incorporated, including the Shropshire and Worcestershire Electric Power Co

By 1927 supplied electricity to Oldbury and Smethwick, the industrial areas of Halesowen, Dudley, Kidderminster, Redditch and Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Upton-on-Severn, as well as many villages.

Stations at Smethwick and Redditch; had also acquired stations at Dudley, Kidderminster, Ludlow and Tewkesbury.
