William Westaby Stuttle (1800-1862)
1800 Born the son of William Stuttle (1768-1827) in Wednesbury.
1827 January 1st. Married at Harmondsworth to Ann Middleton Appleton and they had four sons and three daughters.
Took over the work on the Laira Bridge after the death of his father.
1840 Took over the management of the Coleham Foundry after William Hazledine's death.
1841 Ironfounder, living at Coleham with his wife Ann, children William (clerk to ironfounder, Eliza, Catherine, Clare, James, Henry, Charles).[1]
1861 Living at Coleham, Shrewsbury: William Stuttle (age 60 born Staffordshire), Iron Founder. With his wife Ann Stuttle (age 52 born Middlesex) and their son Charles Stuttle (age 20 born Shrewsbury), Iron Founder. Also his grand-daughter Isabella Loftin (age 4 born Middlesex).[2]
