THOR PEDER K. HAMMARSKJOLD died on January 18, 1909, from typhoid fever, at the early age of 36.
He was born in 1873, at Stockholm, and in 1899 came to London to join the British L. M.. Ericsson Manufacturing Company, of which he was managing director at the time of his death.
He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1902, and was also a member of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
