"We regret to record the death, on June 17, of Mr Frank Somers, former chairman of Walter Somers Ltd., Halesowne, Birmingham. Mr. Somers, who was born on July 6th 1882 joined the family firm of forgemasters in 1898, and spent the whole of his working life there. He became chairman of the company in 1954, and retired from active management in 1958."
