CHARLES THOMAS FLEETWOOD died in December, 1913, in his 75th year.

He entered the service of the Electric and International Telegraph Company in 1854 and was connected with the Telegraph Department of the Post Office during the remainder of his professional career.

He retired in 1902.

In 1875 he contributed to the Journal of the Institution a paper on "Underground Telegraphs - the London Street Work," and again in 1887 one on "Underground Telegraphs" - the latter of which was awarded the Fahie Premium.
