1898 Began manufacturing fencing.
1914 Steel rolling mills, close joint and electric welded tube mills, fencing manufacturers. Employees 350. [1]
1936 Acquired by J. Brockhouse and Co whose laminated springs and railway equipment business unit was next door in Smethwick[2]
1951 Nationalised under the Iron and Steel Act; became part of the Iron and Steel Corporation of Great Britain[3]
1953 Sold by Holding and Realization Agency to J. Brockhouse and Co[4].
1967 One of the larger steel re-rollers not subject to nationalisation[5]
