Mr. Foulston had travelled very largely in France, Spain, Belgium, Sweden, &c., and was well known in business circles in those countries. HERBERT FOULSTON died in a nursing-home on March 2,1921, following an operation.
He was born on April 5, 1887, and on leaving school entered the office of Messrs. Mellowes & Company, Limited, of Sheffield. His merits were evidently very quickly recognized, as in a comparatively short time he was travelling abroad, and became an acknowledged expert in his particular line of busines - patent roof-glazing and constructional engineering.
He was appointed director and general manager of the firm at the early age of thirty-three, and held this position at the time of his death.
