Kearns-Richards was formed by the merger of H. W. Kearns and Co and George Richards and Co. It became part of Staveley Machine Tools, and now no longer exists.

1967 Kearns-Richards was formed when Staveley Industries bought H. W. Kearns and Co. Ltd and merged it with George Richards and Co.

H. W. Kearns & Co. Ltd and George Richards & Co. were key companies in the Broadheath machine tool manufacturing industry. The Museum holds examples of important machine tools made by Kearns & Co. The images document the output of these important companies.
