Caesar Tagliabue of Tagliabue and Casella
1799 Caesar Tagliabue, an instrument maker from the Como area of Italy, established a company in Holborn.
1805 Occupying premises in Camden (possibly this was where he lived)[1]
Before the end of 1820 he had moved to no. 23 Hatton Garden in the heart of London’s scientific instrument making community.
1822 Ceasar Tagbliabue married Maria Ann Cassera in Holborn[2]
1838 His daughter, Maria Louisa, married Louis Paschal Casella, an assistant in the business
1838 Tagliabue took his son-in-law, Louis Paschal Casella, into partnership in the instrument making business, changing the company's name to Tagliabue and Casella.
1844 Dominico Cesare Tagliabue, age 77, of Wilmington Square, died and was buried in Clerkenwell[3]
