John Collingwood Onions (1809-1862) of John C. Onions
1809 December 28th. Born in Birmingham the son of Simon Onions and his wife Ann Brookes
1839 August 22nd. Married in Birmingham to Martha Onions. 'On the 22nd ult. at St. Martin's Church. Mr. John Onions, of Bradford-street, second son of Mr. Simon Onions, of Moseley-street, to Martha, fourth daughter of Mr. James Onions, of Worcester-street, in this town.'[1]

1846 Birth of son Simon B. Onions (1846–1926)
1851 Living at Bradford Street, Deritend, Aston: John C. Onions (age 41 born Birmingham), Bellows Manufacturer. With his wife Martha Onions (age 37 born Birmingham) and their children Ann Onions (age 8 born Birmingham) and Simon Onions (age 5 born Birmingham). Also a servant Clara Onions (age 14 born Birmingham).[2]

Onions (age 20 born Birmingham), Bellows Maker; Annie B. Onions (age 17 born Birmingham); and Simon B. Onions (age 15 born Birmingham). One servant?[3]
