1852 September 14th. Married at Kingswinford to Marianne, the only daughter of Joseph Webb, of Springfield.[1]

With his wife Marianne Smith (age 45 born Dudley) and their three children; Joseph Henry Smith (age 16 born Dudley), Student; Edith Marian Smith (age 15 born Dudley); and Constance Smith (age 14 born Dudley). Two servants.[3]
