"ABRAHAM PANK was for many years chairman of Messrs. A. Pank and Son, Ltd., general engineers, of Norwich, and had been connected with that firm as a partner from as far back as 1892.
He was educated at King Edward VI School, Norwich, and at the School of Art, South Kensington. After serving his apprenticeship from 1885 to 1890 with Messrs. Riches and Watts of Norwich, he was at sea for a brief period as marine engineer before beginning his long connection with Messrs. A. Pank and Son.
Mr. Pank, whose death in his eightieth year occurred on 22nd April 1949, was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1909.
