1857 Mentioned. Joseph Offord and Robert Offord of 79 Wells Street, Oxford Street, coach builders.[2]
1858 Patent. 'Joseph Offord, of Wells-street, Oxford-street, in the county of Middlesex, Coach Builder. 'Improvements in the construction of carriages[3]
1862 Patent. '1203. And Joseph Offord, of Wells-street, Oxford street, in the county of Middlesex, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in carriages."'[4]
