William Ford Stanley, of W. F. Stanley and W. F. Stanley and Co, was an inventor and engineer.

He designed and made precision drawing and mathematical instruments, surveying instruments and telescopes.

1853 Established his business - W. F. Stanley

He filed 78 patents in the UK and US.
