- 1929 After United Alkali was incorporated in ICI, the Allhusen Works were amalgamated with Castner Kellner Co's Wallsend works and the Cassel Cyanide Co of Glasgow; the 3 works were concentrated at Billingham South, called Cassel Works[5].
