William Snowden (c1809- )

1858 Advert. 'Woof's Patent Paring Plough' Made by William Snowden and also in competition by W. Turner of Barton Street, Gloucester.[1] AS few months later Snowden announces he has purchased teh rights and is now the sole maker of 'Woofe's Patent Parer'. Address is Manufactory, Longford, near Gloucester.[2]

1861 Living at Vine Cottage, Longford, Gloucester: William Snowden (age 52 born London), Plough Machine maker. With his wife Jane M. Snowden (age 50 born London). Also his niece Jane A. Cole (age 27 born Cheltenham), Unmarried. Two servants.[3]
