  • Spa were built in Italy by Societa Ligure Piemontese Automobili of Turin.
  • 1908 Spa developed a range of commercial vehicles.
  • 1923 They had two passenger-carrying models.
  • 1925 Due to a bank failure the company were taken over by FIAT.
  • 1928 The Royal Agricultural Show saw Fiat exhibiting three of their own trucks, one Spa truck and one Spa bus. The bus shown had a 52bhp four-cylinder engine and seated 24 passengers.
  • 1947 Spa was totally absorbed by FIAT.
