1881 Born in Brookend, Glos., the son of William Miles, a Cordwainer and draper, and his wife Mary Jane Maria Challenger

1906 Married Mary Ruth Dimery

1910-1912 Produced some light cars

1911 Living at Newtown, Berkeley, Sharpness, Glos: Joubert Miles (age 30 born Brookend), Cycle maker - own account. With his wife Mary Miles (age 27 born Pitbrook, Berkeley).[1]
