Born the son of George Meyrick Meyrick-Jones, Clerk in Holy Orders.

1907 Married at twickenham to Sarah Theresa Florence Crowdy

1911 Living at 150 Audley Road, West Felton, Hendon: Leonard Meyrick Meyrick-Jones (age 37 born Blackheath), Engineer and Journalist. With his wife Sarah Theresa Florence Meyrick-Jones (age 40 born Kentish Town). Two servants.[1]

1914 September. Editor of Cooper's Vehicle Journal.[2]
