George Nayler (1896- )
1896 Born in Hereford, son of George Nayler
Educated at Hereford Cathedral School
1910 apprenticed to Nayler and Co, engineers of Hereford, patentees and manufacturer of oil engines, petrol engines, steam tractors, hydraulic presses, etc.
1913 Articled to John Parker M.I.C.E. consulting engineer of Hereford
1914 Joined Army Services.
1920 Moved to India with Royal Army Service Corps
1922 Appointed workshop superintendent in India, covering motor transport
1928 Officer charge of workshops for heavy repairs, Bombay
1930 Captain George Nayler became an Associate of the Inst of Mech Engineers
