1900 'The directors of the "Reyrol" Motor Car Company Limited invite subscriptions for an issue of 30,000 seven per cent cumulative preference shares and of 30,000 ordinary shares of £1 each. The company is formed for the purpose of acquiring the business, goodwill, machinery, plant, cars, stock-in-trade, works, and assets of the Societe des Automobiles, Hermes, Systeme Reyrol, Paris, and of the Yorkshire Motor Vehicle Company, Vaughan Motor Works, Bradford; the North of England Motor Company, Aire-street, Leeds; and the Manchester Motor Car Corporation Works, Victoria Bridge, Manchester. The share capital of the company consists of £120,000, equally divided into preference and ordinary shares of £1 each.'
