Worked for 3 years on erection of lighthouses, marine engines and bridge work, and as a consulting engineer.
1872 Joined Courtney, Stephens and Bailey of Dublin as a partner
1882 Joined the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. He was managing director of the firm
By 1885 was of 15 Elizabeth Terrace, Upper William Street North, Sydney, New South Wales
1888 Died in Windsor[1]
