Petrin Lookout Tower (Prague)





The Petřín Lookout Tower (Petřínská rozhledna) is a 63.5-metre tall tower in Petřín Park in Prague.
The hill is served by a funicular.
The tower was inspired by the Eiffel Tower, and although only one fifth of its height, it has the advantage of being situated on a hill.
Opened in 1891. Archchitect: Vratislav Pasovský. Engineers: František Prášil and Julius Souček.
