Arthur Edward Leigh Scanes

c.1884 Born in Kensington, London[1]

Presumably worked for the pump branch of the Westinghouse company as c.1908 he had inspected and stripped down a Leblanc pump made by the French Westinghouse company[2]

1911 A mechanical engineer (steam) boarding in Old Trafford, Manchester, with a number of electrical engineers from British Westinghouse Electrical Manufacturing Co[3]

1913 of Manchester, when he wrote to The Engineer[4]
