Simon Pincoffs, c.1812-1902, of Pincoffs & Co, Manchester

1902 'THE LATE MR. S. PINCOFFS.
The late Mr. Simon Pincoffs, who died last week at Minehead, Somerset, at the age of ninety years, was formerly head of a prominent firm of merchants and shippers, in this city [Manchester], who started business in Nicholas-street in 1833, was long a respected member of the German community here. He retired from business twenty years ago or more. His daughter, Matilda, married in 1872 Mr. Francis John Headlam, the stipendiary magistrate.'[1]
