1851 Living at 11 Manor Street, Chelsea: Francis Hocking (age 33 born Penzance), Smith employing 4 men. With his wife Jane Hocking (age 33 born Penzance) and their four children; Elizabeth A. Hocking (age 11 born Penzance); William H. Hocking (age 9 born Penzance); John F. Hocking (age 6 born Chelsea); and George Hocking (age 3 Born Chelsea). Also at 11 Manor Street are listed Mary (presumably Henry) McColley (age 25 born Redruth), Iron Moulder employing 5 men and four boys, and his wife; and William Watt (age 48 born Phillack), Moulder with his wife and four children.[2]
