'... the Partnership lately subsisting between us, as Engineers and Ironfounders, and which we carried on in the city of Lincoln, under the style or firm of Ruston, Burton, and Proctor, was dissolved on the 1st day of May, 1857, by mutual consent.— As witness our hands this 29th day of July, 1857.
