Occupation: engine fittng and testing

WWI Served in the Royal Navy, as aircraft mechanic on HMS Pembroke III, and the Royal Air Force

1921 Became a student member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers

1939 Aeronautical Engineer lived in Wycombe with his wife Katherine[1]

Invented a system of slotted flaps for aircraft which was tested in the Youngman-Baynes High Lift Research Aircraft

1988 Died in Wooburn Green, Bucks[2]
