1905 November 5th. 'The Auto-cycle Club’s 100 miles reliability trial for motor-cycles fitted with two-speed gears, and designed to carry two passengers, will take place on Saturday next, November 5. The route selected is from Hatfield Newmarket, returning to Hatfield and Royston.[1]
