Isaac Hillier
Isaac Hillier (1797-1884) was the son of Thomas Hillier.
1828 Married Maria Playden in 10th July.
1841 Isaac Hillier 48, bacon curer, lived in Horsley, Gloucs., with Maria Hillier 45, Ellen Hillier 3[1]
1865 Isaac Hillier's second marriage was in Stroud, to Susanna King (nee Hogg) (1805-1891) mother of Henry James Hogg King.[2]
1865 Founded Hillier's Bacon Curing Co. Ltd. (Incorporated on 11th March 1865)
1871 Isaac Hillier 73, retired bacon factor, lived in Horsley with Susanna Hillier 65[3]
1886 He died aged 88 on the 4th of July.
His daughter Ellen married Samuel Borton Brown, a Baptist minister. Their daughter, Ida Stanton Brown, married Edward Wathen Fyffe in 1894 in London; Edward was tea dealer and the founder of Fyffe's Bananas.
