Bancks and Co's Plan of Manchester, 1831 shows Ogden's Cotton Mill at the southern end of Dickinson Street. The 1849 O.S. map together with Adshead's 1851 Maps of Manchester show Dickinson Street Mill (cotton) of James Frost (T. Ogden and Sons) immediately south of Fothergill and Dobinson's Globe Works
By 1901 Dickinson Street Power Station covered the southern end of the site. The canal branch has been filled in and serves as a car park.
