1844 Advertisement: 'TO IRONMASTERS. FOUNDERS, ENGINEERS, FITTERS-UP, &c.
POTHOUSE BRIDGE FOUNDRY, BILSTON.
TO be SOLD by AUCTION, by RICH. CORBETT, on the premises, on Monday the 2d. day of September. 1844 — the whole of the excellent Bricks, Timbers, Doors, Windows. Lead, Iron, and other MATERIALS and composing the above named Foundry, Turning and Fitting-up Shop, Air Furnaces, Foundry Stoves, Smiths' Shop, Sheds, and other erections, a very excellent twelve-horse power high-pressure STEAM ENGINE, five very superior turning, boring, and fitting-up Lathes, a Blowing Apparatus, two powerful doubled-sided cast-iron Foundry Cranes, with racks, slides, pulley blocks and chains, foundry carriages and grates, the whole of which to be taken down and removed off the premises before the 18th day of October next. Also nearly one hundred tons of pipe, plate, beam, wheel, and other cast-iron Moulders, Boxes, Core Bars, Floor and Wharf Plates, and various new and useful Castings, &c, Turning Mill, Fitters-up and Smiths' Tools, and other valuable Implements, Fire Bricks. Fire Clay, dry Pine and other Boards and Timber, Pattern-makers' Benches, and other miscellaneous property and effects : catalogues of which will be distributed, and may bad and after the of August at the Herald Office. Birmingham, and the offices of the Auctioneer, New Town, Bilston.' [1]

1855 Advertisement: 'MALT CRUSHERS. PARTIES requiring MALT CRUSHERS would do well, before purchasing, to inspect those made at MR. R. THOMPSON'S, POTHOUSE BRIDGE FOUNDRY, BILSTON, STAFFORDSHIRE.' [2]
